If you haven't read jadzialove's Humbug I must insist that you do sometime between now and the New Year. It's an absolutely perfect take on A Christmas Carol. I'll refund the purchase price if you don't enjoy it. :P As everyone's mentioned the fests are starting. I have three anon fics out there in the universe-snarry_holidays, daily_deviant's Kinky Kristmas, mini_fest over on LJ. I will write a drabble for anyone that guesses any of the three fics which are mine (and I think at least two are so obvious anyone that regularly reads my fic could figure them out). 09:25 pm torino10154 [Link]	Adventdrabbles + fests opening tomorrow! adventdrabbles first prompt is up!!! For those that haven't played before you can write one drabble a day or pick and choose the prompts you like. You don't even have to use the prompts. It's not just for HP either. Your fics can be true drabbles of 100 words or mini-ficlets. Oh, and I always forget drawbles. I might try to do one or two this year-that's always embarrassing. :P I had a blast last year-I wrote every day plus I did a 14 day series to finish it off. Not sure whether I'll manage that again but I do want to at least write every day. Fests--santas_lap is already up and running. daily_deviant's Kinky Kristmas, snarry_holidays and mini_fest (this one over on LJ) all begin posting tomorrow. No doubt other fests do too but these are the ones I am participating in! dances I will mention mini_fest again because the only requirement was 500 words so there should be some little gems in there; bit sized morsels for when you only have a little time. 12:06 pm torino10154 [Link]	AO3 + writing So I've been a very busy bee the last few days. ~I helped alisanne by tagging some of the adventdrabbles from the last two years (which starts again on Tuesday--mark you calendars!! \o/ ). ~I finished (FINALLY) my Kinky Kristmas fic for daily_deviant (thanks to jadzialove for her expert beta skills ♥)-will email that in tonight. ~I just uploaded a bunch of fic to AO3. I have to say AO3 is pretty shiny. I haven't tagged my fics properly yet. But I did put up my collection of last year's adventdrabbles for example. Here's my list of works I've added so far. It's really cool to see the variety of fic all in one place. Audrey Tautou is gorgeous and I could have looked at her all day, but I found her character's motivations unfathomable, and I had no sense at all where Chanel's great talent and style came from, nor was there any sense of the force in design she would one day become. This was nothing but an overblown romance that somehow reduced everything she did to being about some guy. Nauseating. I HATED it. Beautiful, yes. But blech.
