It's the blood challenge. Author's Notes: This is one of several, but probably the only other one I'll get posted on time. The others will appear later. ;) “Sirius Black, you rotten mongrel, you wouldn’t think it was so funny if it happened to you!” Lily Evans yelled as she Vanished the blood from the back of her school skirt. Her cycle had started unexpectedly thanks to a misfired hex in Defense. She hadn’t been impressed when Sirius jokingly called her ‘Blood Lily’; Sirius knew he could count on an unpleasant retaliation in the near future. Unfortunately, he didn’t realize just how creative Lily was. During their next Defense class, Sirius became a girl. His first (and only) cycle started later that day. He didn’t gag over the disgusting ingredients in Potions. He didn’t throw up when that Slytherin got hit with a Vomiting Hex, even though a lot of other people did. But when his brother Regulus came home eager to show him a new hex he’d learned from an older student, Sirius had to fight to control his stomach.
